Junior Golf Program
Little Rascals

The Little Rascals program is held at the driving range. This program is for 5 and 6 year old children is designed to foster childrens interest in the game in a very fun, interactive environment. Instructors are PGA/LPGA members.
Kids Playing Through
Ages: 7 – 17 yrs.
Dates: June 16 – August 4, 2007 (excludes July 4th holiday week)
Day: Mondays
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 pm (depending on actual course-play time)
Location: Championship & Mountain Golf Courses
Fee: $85*
This 8 week program is designed to give kids access to outdoor activities that can be continued throughout their lives. Using golf as a starting point, life skills will be introduced that will serve as a catalyst for getting the communities children to begin acting as good citizens.
The program consists of 1 hour of instruction (1/2 hour swing, 15 minutes putting and chipping), a break for lunch (no food provided), 15 minutes life-skill concepts, video instruction on rules and etiquette, skill evaluating and 1 hour of on course play (optional).
Parents and community members are encouraged to be volunteers as mentors, chaperones, advisors, organizers, etc.
Equipment will be provided for those who do not currently have their own. Students will all receive a bag of tees, a ball marker, hat or visor, a golf shirt and a NGF rule book.
Sign-up - Sunday, May 25th from 1pm - 2pm, Ice Cream Social and registration at The Chateau. Join us for fun and games! Applications will be available here soon or can be picked up at either course golf shop.

Program Goals & Objectives
- To teach every student the full swing, chipping, putting, so that they can demonstrate and execute 5-10 shots to a target within a maximum acceptable range.
- To teach and demonstrate proper etiquette so that each student can demonstrate correct etiquette in an on course playing situation.
- To build confidence in each student so that they feel comfortable playing the course.
*Scholarships available. Parents will need to complete the financial assistance form which is available on line or at the golf shop.
